Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and currently based in Brooklyn, Alë Jay is a 27-year-old Songwriter/Multi- Instrumentalist/Producer. His deep latin musical roots fused with his world-renowned music education at the University of North Texas make up the origins of his unique sound.
He debuted in 2015 by opening for John Legend at SXSW, and has gone on to win a Gold CLIO Music Award for his song “Put It Down”; share the stage as a saxophonist with Maggie Rogers; and rose to the top in Major Lazer’s worldwide search for a Caribbean infused summer jam with his original release “doin’ to me”.
